It brings us great sadness today to inform you that our Founder and CEO, Scott Rindfleish, passed away on the 10th of October 2022. Scott was 40 years old.
Scott started the foundation, hoping to make Bowel Cancer a 100% curable disease, through great promotion, early detection and research.
He was passionate about the patient journey and making this as comfortable as possible for those with Bowel Cancer & their families.
Scott launched the foundation in 2022, after starting his battle with Cancer in 2020. He had this to say about the launch of the foundation.
“If I had to pinpoint the moment when I had the greatest desire within me to do something about cancer, it was when I received the news that my cancer was incurable. In that very moment, I understood that the time had come for me to be active, and I needed to do something… Now is the time to ‘Strike Out Bowel Cancer’”.
Scott’s legacy will continue to live on through the foundation, with some great initiatives on the horizon. If you can please consider supporting the foundation at this time.
Rest in peace, Scott. We are all better for knowing you. We can’t wait to see the impact that you will make on many people’s Bowel Cancer journey to come.
