“If I had to pinpoint the moment when I had the greatest desire within me to do something about cancer, it was when I received the news that my cancer was incurable. In that very moment, I understood that the time had come for me to be active, and I needed to do something.
Now is the time to ‘Strike Out Bowel Cancer’”
Scott has lived a full, eventful, and successful life surrounded by love and support. He follows the philosophy of ‘to whom much is given, much is expected‘. And so the Scott Rindfleish Foundation was born.
Scott and the Scott Rindfleish Foundation is committed to going the extra mile to support cancer patients and help prevent bowel cancer, particularly in younger Australians.
Bowel cancer is the second most deadly cancer in Australia, and as it is preventable in many, many cases with early detection, we have much work to do and we must act now.
The support from our community can and will make a big difference to the lives of cancer patients and hopefully to prevent cancer so Australians need not suffer.
Bowel Cancer Australia will be one of the foundation’s key beneficiaries of funding for research and for the prevention of bowel cancer.
Together we can all spread the word about bowel cancer prevention. By improving knowledge and increasing awareness about the warning signs, Australians will hopefully open discussions with family and friends so more and more people can freely discuss and act early to seek preventive medical support.
We must act now to ‘Strike Out Bowel Cancer’.
We will win, not immediately, but definitely!
The Scott Rindfleish Foundation is committed to going the extra mile to support cancer patients and help prevent bowel cancer, particularly in younger Australians.
