Sport has been the backbone of Scott’s volunteer and social life throughout the years. Softball has been so wonderful to the Rindfleish Family, and Scott as an international umpire has achieved great success umpiring all over the world. Recognition of his sporting achievements are best signified by his world championship umpiring achievements and most proudly, Scott’s induction into the Softball Australia Hall of Fame and the Softball NSW Hall of Fame.
Coaching softball is also a great passion. Alongside his brother, Adam, this dynamic duo have led NSW softball teams for over a decade, supporting the achievements of countless athletes who have gone on to achieve great success. Together they form a formidable coaching team that is both highly regarded and respected. A true partnership. Both brothers are members of the Softball NSW Hall of Fame for outstanding softball performance.
The Rindfleish family bond cannot be stronger! From Mother Susan, Father Andrew and sons Adam and Scott, the shared passion for softball and excellence is clearly evidenced by their shared successes and achievements, made possible by the most powerful level of support for each other.
The Scott Rindfleish Foundation is committed to “Strike Out Bowel Cancer”. Linked to a great softball phrase associated with the role of an Umpire and Scott’s former softball position as a pitcher.
The commitment to this cause is our primary focus and the Scott Rindfleish Foundation community is 100% committed to achieving our goals.
This is a tough mental and physical journey. These pictures below show just some of Scott’s journey.
The Scott Rindfleish Foundation is committed to going the extra mile to support cancer patients and help prevent bowel cancer, particularly in younger Australians.
