Vale Andrew Rindfleish – Founding Chair of the Scott Rindfleish Foundation

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Andrew (Andy) Rindfleish, the founding Chair of the Scott Rindfleish Foundation and an integral force behind our mission from the very beginning.

Andy played a pivotal role in establishing the foundation alongside Scott, helping shape its vision, structure, and values. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment laid the groundwork that continues to guide the foundation’s success today and will do so well into the future.

Beyond his governance and guidance, Andy brought heart, stability and strength during some of the hardest moments. His support for Scott throughout his cancer journey and his belief in the importance of bowel cancer awareness and early detection remain central to the foundation’s purpose.

A Tribute From His Son, Adam Rindfleish

Board Director Jesse Smith shared the following words in honour of Andrew:

“Rest in peace, Andy. Thank you for being a rock for Scott through his cancer journey and for our foundation. We hope you are reunited now.”

As a community, we express our heartfelt condolences to the Rindfleish family and all who knew and loved Andy. His legacy of compassion, leadership, and generosity will continue to inspire the work we do every day to Strike Out Bowel Cancer.
