It was a sea of blue on November 10th at Blacktown International Sportspark! The Strikeout Bowel Cancer Day was a huge success, with players and spectators showing their support and raising awareness for this important cause.
We were honoured to have our Ambassador, Jenny Ware MP, join us for the event, along with our dedicated patrons, Susan Rindfleish and Darryl Clout. Their presence brought an extra level of encouragement and commitment to our mission, and we’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing support.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped us in the fight to #strikeoutbowelcancer. Thank you to our volunteers who helped man the tent throughout the day as well!
Together, we’re making strides toward greater awareness and early detection. Let’s keep the momentum going!
A great debut for the new Strike Out Bowel Cancer umpiring shirts to be worn during the state league competition! Thanks to Mad Hatter Concepts for getting the logo and shirts together for us!
Well done to Adam & Kelly who coached Dolphins & Sharks respectively and Pete who played for Tropics, whilst James took to the diamond as an umpire!
The Scott Rindfleish Foundation is committed to going the extra mile to support cancer patients and help prevent bowel cancer, particularly in younger Australians.
