Community Homeruns: 24 Hour 1 Strike at a Time For Bowel Cancer
October 28, 2023
We can’t thank enough the organising committee from the 24 Hours 1 Strike at a Time For Bowel Cancer event for their amazing fundraising event!
What an amazing 24 hours were held at Cowpasture Reserve in Camden for 24 straight hours of Softball from September 22nd to 23rd!
Lots of fun was had over the 24 hours and it was great to connect with many people about the effect Scott had on their lives and to be able to speak about the Signs and Symptoms of Bowel Cancer to the huge participant and fan base.
The organising committee also handed over their incredible donation figure of $17,500 this week at a ceremony at Softball Macarthur.
A big thanks to the committee of Softball Macarthur who also had a tree-planting ceremony to recognise the work Scott put into the association during his tenure there – where he is a life member.
A huge thank you also to Mick G Photography who took all these incredible images of the day!
